The Indian traditional system of medicine focuses on diet and lifestyle regimes that are meticulously planned to heal body, mind and soul.
Ayurveda basically focuses on one principle. i.e –
स्वस्थस्य स्वास्थ्यरक्षणं
अतुरस्य विकार प्रशमनाम्चा
I.e. Aiming at keeping a healthy person healthy and managing or curing diseases of a person.
We too focus on the same principle to preserve the health of a healthy person and then to cure a diseased person. It’s a small initiative by Nowhealthy.info to provide the best of our knowledge to the masses.
Ayurveda focuses not only on physical well-being but also on mental and spiritual well-being.
This definition of health has been mentioned by Acharya Sushruta 1000 years back. According to this definition – A person whose Doshas, Agnis, Dhatus and Natural urges (Stool and Urine) are functioning properly and also the body, mind and soul are cheerful: is considered as Swasth (healthy)
So we focus on these principles of our ancient texts to lead a happy and healthy world. Ayurveda basically works on the principle that a perfect health condition is achievable through the psychosomatic integration within a person.
Our ultimate goal is to create a state of holistic health or for an individual and consequently creating a healthy society and environment with the natural Herbs and resources available around us.
